History

Chongming Junior High School was first established in 1991. So far (till 2024), we have 52 classes, 1400 students, and school staff of 150 people. Our school occupied an area of 5.2 hectare. Our school is a galaxy place which has many artistic resources and densely popualtion. It's because our school is near the Tainan Culture Center, the Tainan Municipal Hospital, Barclay Park, and Chongming Elementary School.

In August 2019, the sixth principal, Mr. Chen Weijie, adhered to the core concept of "Every Child Achieving Their Potential" and led all staffs create a school vision of "nurture by nature and have both morality and skill". He also inherited school characters of "Humanities & Arts, Scientific Wisdom, Health & Diversity, Bilingual & International" to build an outstanding school brand.
